My community service announcement. The reports that Aldi’s wine, $6.99, has won Double Gold and Best Value Shiraz at “Great Australian Shiraz Challenge “ of 2017, are not only true but it does live up to the expectations! Ok, it still doesn’t taste as good as $30 bottle of Heathcote Shiraz, but I would be happy with it if paid up to $15-20. Definitely doesn’t have cheap bottle smell or taste. Very full bodied with nice tannins and spice. Just what you would expect from Heathcote shiraz, for 7 bucks! Happy days!!!! Cheers!! xx
